Bonnie Drum died Thursday, July 3, 2014 at the Norfolk Veteran's Home.

Bonnie L. Drum was born November 1, 1929 in Omaha to Bud and Edith (Black) Murray. She moved to Columbus at an early age and graduated from Columbus High School. Bonnie married Neal Drum on August 21, 1947 in Columbus. Bonnie worked various jobs in accounting. She worked for the Prairie Hills Girl Scouts for many years before going to work for the American Red Cross. Bonnie loved to shop and travel with her husband and friends. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, the VFW Auxiliary, the Legion Auxiliary, and their Card Club. Bonnie enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and hosting the 4th of July party with her family.

She is survived by:

Daughter Georgia Jasper of Columbus
Son Greg (Denette) Drum of Columbus
Daughter Gerri (Chuck) Putnam of Columbus
9 Grandchildren: Thad and Cory Drum, Amy (Curt) Crinklaw, Aaron (Melissa) Jasper, Anthony (Shayla) Jasper, Brandon (Cecelia) Drum, Andra (Cory) Vandenberg, Miles and Morgan Putnam
