Bill Rickner of Columbus died Friday, February 11, 2011 at his home in Columbus.
William "Bill" Rickner was born September 3, 1929 in Columbus to August and Olga (Kneifel) Rickner. He grew up in Columbus and attended Columbus schools. Bill served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict where he earned 3 Bronze Service Stars. Bill trained thoroughbred horses for almost 60 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and gardening. He was a life member of the VFW.

Nephew Jim Rickner of Columbus
Nephew Mike Rickner of Center Point, IA
