Bethany Wright

Bethany Wright, 64, of Columbus, NE, died August 31, 2023, at her home.

Funeral Services are 10:00 am, Saturday, September 2, 2023 at Bible Baptist Church. Visitation is Friday, September 1, from 5:00-8:00 pm. all at the Bible Baptist Church. Interment will be in the Roselawn Cemetery.

Bethany Wright was born in Columbus, Nebraska on July 23, 1959 to Marshall "Ed" and Cleta  "Irene" (Stotts) Hayward. Bethany grew up in Columbus and was a graduate of Columbus High School class of 1977. She was united in marriage to John Wright on August 5, 1979 in Columbus. She received her LPN nursing at CCC-Platte Community College. Along with raising her family, she also taught 15 years at the Bible Baptist Christian School teaching science. She was a creative person, spending her time sewing, dress making, poetry, and drawing.

She is survived by:

Son- Robert (Hannah) Wright of Columbus

Son- Matthew (Regina) Wright of Columbus

Son- Jonathan Wright of Columbus

Son- Stephen (Melody) Wright of Columbus

Daughter- Esther Wright of Columbus

Son- James (Katie) of Lewisville, TX

Brother- Peter (Kim) Hayward of Columbus

Sister- Kathy (James) Jenkinson of Columbus
