Bertie died Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at the Columbus Community Hospital.

Bertha "Bertie" Hledik was born June 7, 1954 in Norfolk, Nebraska to Emil and Edna (Schober) Hledik. She graduated from Stanton High School. Bertie lived in Columbus, Nebraska where she worked at Caseys General Store and Burger King. She enjoyed travelling with family and friends and quilting.
