Bert Swett was born November 9, 1936 in Spalding, NE to Bert and Hilda (Reicks) Swett. He grew up in Spalding and graduated from Spalding High School in 1954. Bert married Felicia McManaman in St. Edward, NE on June 9, 1958. He lived in St. Edward, Schuyler, Columbus, and eventually Albion. Bert worked for Becton-Dickinson for many years until his retirement. He loved hunting, fishing, and gardening.
