Bernice Gdowski

Bernice Gdowski, age 72, of Columbus, Nebraska died Tuesday, August 7, 2007 at her home. Funeral Services are 10:30 a.m. Thursday, August 9, 2007 at St. Isidore Catholic Church. The Rev. Joseph A. Miksch will officiate. Visitation is Wednesday 4-8 p.m. at the McKown Funeral Home. There will be a vigil service Wednesday evening 7:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home. Visitation will continue Thursday morning 8-10 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at the St. Bonaventure Cemetery.

Bernice Marie Gdowski was born October 6,1934 in St Bernard, Nebraska to Peter and Anna (Dohmen) Maag. She graduated from St Bonaventure High School in 1952. Bernice worked at Becton Dickinson and retired in 1990. Bernice enjoyed reading, embroidery, and traveling. She also enjoyed her grandchildren's activities and playing cards with her them. Bernice was a member of St. Isidore Church.
