Bernice V. Drozd of Duncan died Friday, May 3, 2013 at the Osceola Good Samaritan Center.
Bernice V. Drozd was born June 9, 1930 in rural Lindsay, NE to Carl and Theodosia (Micek) Sempek. She grew up in the Lindsay area and attended District 42 School in Platte County. She was united in marriage to Leonard Drozd on September 1, 1953 at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Genoa. Bernice was a homemaker and worked for Becton Dickinson. She enjoyed her grandchildren, polka dancing, working with her flowers, doing embroidery and crossword puzzles, and going to casinos. She was a member of St. Stanislaus Church in Duncan, St. Stanislaus Rosary Group and the St. Anns Society.
