Bernard C. Cuba died Sunday, December 16, 2012 at his home near Silver Creek, Nebraska.
Bernard Charles Cuba was born June 24, 1948 in Genoa, Nebraska to Joseph P. and Veronica (Prososki) Cuba. He graduated from Genoa High School in 1966. Bernard served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam from 1968 - 1969. He married Sharon Grosch on May 16, 1970 at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Silver Creek. Bernard farmed all of his life in rural Genoa. He was a lifetime member of Ss. Peter & Paul Krakow and a member of the Genoa American Legion. Bernard enjoyed farming, hunting and playing cards. He loved spending time with family, especially his five grandchildren, and friends.
