Bernadette "Bernie" Weidner

Bernadette "Bernie" Weidner, age 86, died Monday, December 18, 2023, in Lincoln.

Services are 1:00 p.m. Thursday, December 21, 2023, at St. Joseph Church in Platte Center. Visitation is 12:00-1:00 p.m. Thursday at the church. Burial is in St. Joseph/Patrick Cemetery.

Bernie was born June 17, 1937, to Lester Oliver and Lucy Mae (Foglesong) Harsh in Platte Center. She grew up in Platte Center. Bernie graduated from Platte Center High School in 1954. On June 21, 1955, she was united in marriage to Charles Weidner. Bernie worked for 34 years for B-Ds in Columbus. Charles and Bernie's biggest love in their lives was their family.

Bernie enjoyed several volunteer positions over the years. She also enjoyed attending Nebraska football games with her friends.

Great Grandchildren: Landon Ternus, Ryann and Jaxson Becker; Owen, Maci and Lucy Becker; Max and Gwen Becker
