Bernadette C. Slovinski was born on the family farm near Tarnov, NE on September 23rd 1916 to Joseph and Marianne (Sliva) Slovinski.Bernadette attended St. Michael Archangel School in Tarnov, NE and St. Joseph High School, Platte Center, NE. She worked for Trico Manufacturing, Buffalo, NY, and retired from Brandeis Department Stores in Omaha, NE. She grew up in the Tarnov area and also lived in Buffalo, NY, Mesa, AZ and was a long time resident of Nebraska.
Bernadette was a member of St. Bonaventure Church in Columbus, and was a member of the Ladies Guild and former member of the Eucharistic Adoration and Legion of Mary.
She is survived by her sister-in-law Angie Slovinski and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her sisters, Sister Mary Felicia (Cecilia), Anna (Nosal), Helen and Barbara, brothers Stanley, Alex, Joseph, Sigmund, Edward, and Leonard.
