Becky Muckey

Becky Lynn Muckey, 59, of Platte Center, Nebraska, died Friday, May 20th, 2022, at Bryan East Hospital in Lincoln, Nebraska.

Services are 1:30 p.m. June 4, 2022 at St. Luke's U.C.C. in Columbus.

Becky was born on December 8th, 1962, to Zelda Lockard (Langhorst) and August Lockard. She attended grade school in Columbus, but left school and obtained her GED instead.

In 1993 she united in marriage to Wesley Muckey at St. Luke's United Church of Christ in Columbus, Nebraska. After their marriage she continued her work at the Schuyler nursing home. Becky loved everything across the board from sitting outside watching the traffic to just going and visiting family. She always loved to cook and offered a helping with it whenever she could. During her later years she started to collect very unique pens and coffee cups, one of her favorite pastimes, sitting outside in the morning with a cup of coffee. Becky was a lady of many things but first she was a mother, she always made sure her children and other family members were taken care of before anything else and took pride in them and watching them grow up and succeed.

Becky is survived by her children,  Cody Lockard of Belgrade; Jacob Muckey of Columbus; Cassie Muckey of Platte Center; Jordan Muckey of Platte Center; her sisters, Marcia (Albert) Jedlicka  of Schuyler, Jaclynn Mosel of David City, cousins Brenda (Ron) Shipley of David City; Sandra Zechmann of Bellwood; Mike And Pat Ewert of Bellwood.

Becky was preceded in death by her parents, August Lockard and Zelda Bullock; Ex-husband Tiny Hall of Creston. Carrie Bullock
