Beatrice Siegel of Columbus, died Saturday, May 13, 2017, at the Brookestone Acres in Columbus.
Beatrice Siegel was born November 15, 1924 in Stuart, Nebraska to Louis and Marie (Higgins) Jardee. She grew up in Stuart, NE where she graduated from Stuart High School in 1942. She worked in the Holt County Treasurers Office in ONeill. She married Charles W. Siegel on November 18, 1946 in Stuart. Beatrice then worked for the Platte County Election Commission as a poll worker during elections. Beatrice was a member of St. Bonaventure Catholic Church, where she volunteered in many areas, Legion Of Mary and Perpetual Adoration for over 40 years. She enjoyed crocheting, walking, music, playing cards, reading and cooking delicious meals for her family.

Daughters: Ann (Dean) Hefti of Columbus, Mary (Steve) Narans of Fremont.
Sons: Charles (Betty) Siegel, Jr., Thomas and Joel Siegel all of Columbus and Timothy L. Siegel of Fremont.
Grandchildren: Amy (Doug) Sokol of Columbus, Jill (Jason) Breed of Castle Rock, CO, Jodi Hefti of Columbus. Timothy A.(Stefanie) Siegel of Columbus, Jeffrey and Mark Siegel of Omaha, Beth (Kent) Carstens of Columbus, Charles (Rebecca) Narans of Celina, TX, Julie Narans and Colin Narans of Omaha.
Also survived by brother: William Jardee of Aurora, CO, and numerous great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her spouse: Charles who died in 1988, her parents, and brothers: Gerald, John and James Jardee, and sisters: Alice Jardee, Sr. Louise Jardee O.F.M., Honora Schefcik, Mary Crane, and Bernice Watt.
