Beatrice Briggs

Beatrice "Bea" Briggs, age 64, of Columbus, Nebraska died Wednesday, April 13, 2005 at her home. Funeral Services are 10:00 am Monday at St. Isidore Catholic Church with Rev. Joseph A. Miksch officiating. Visitation is on Sunday from 5-7 pm at McKown Funeral Home with a Vigil service at 7:00 pm Sunday, also at the funeral home. Visitation continues from 8-9:30 am Monday at McKown Funeral Home. Interment is in St. Bonaventure Cemetery.

Beatrice Grace Briggs was born August 14, 1940 in Santa Monica, California to Eulogio and Cora (Mireles) Mejia. She grew up in Santa Monica. She married James Milton Briggs on July 8, 1972 in Santa Monica. In 1980 she relocated with her family to Columbus. She worked at B-D for 25 years, retiring in 2003. She enjoyed league bowling and shopping with her grandchildren. She was a member of St. Isidore Catholic Church.
