Barbara Osborne

Barbara Osborne of Columbus died Thursday, December 3, 2015 at the Nebraska Medical Center.

Barbara Ann Osborne was born July 18, 1946 in Cedar Rapids, NE to Frank C. and Della K. (Volnek) Bosak. She grew up around Genoa and Columbus where she attended rural elementary school in Genoa, St. Anthonys grade school in Columbus and graduated from Columbus High School in 1965. On January 8, 1965, Barb was united in marriage to Kenneth Osborne, Jr in Yankton, SD.
Barb worked at Scotts Dime Store, Behlen Manufacturing, and at Vishay Dale for over 35 years before retiring in 2013. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, the Ladies Altar Guild, and the VFW Auxiliary. Barb loved her grandchildren, great grandchildren, and her bird, Holly. She will be remembered as always having a smile.
