Barb Sedlacek of Columbus died Sunday, January 24, 2016 in Columbus after a 3 and a half year battle with cancer.
Barb Sedlacek was born December 25, 1942 in Santa Monica, CA to Ralph and Meryl (Nelson) Potts. She moved to Nebraska in 1947 as a young child to the Tilden area and later Norfolk and eventually Columbus in 1957 where she was a 1960 graduate of Columbus High School. Barb married Gail "Crip" Sedlacek and to this union two children were born, Tammy and Randy. She worked in the insurance business for several years. Barb and Crip later purchased the Lark Lounge which they ran together. Following the sale of the lounge, Barb returned to the insurance business up until she retired.
Barb enjoyed the lake life, traveling, and entertaining family and friends. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church.

Sister: Mary (Darrell) Mueller of Arizona
