Arthur A. Miksch

Arthur A. Miksch of Columbus died Thursday, November 5, 2009 at Columbus Community Hospital.

Arthur A. Miksch was born April 27, 1920 on a farm in Platte County to Louis and Mary (Scharff) Miksch. He was raised on a farm south of Platte Center and received his education at District 3 and at St. Joseph's School. Art married Mildred Olmer on August 29, 1950 at St. Francis Catholic Church in Humphrey. Art farmed all his life northwest of Columbus. He retired in 1985. In 1991 he moved to Columbus. He was a member of St. Isidore Catholic Church in Columbus and the Holy Name Society.
