Arthur &Quot;Art&Quot; Greisen

Arthur T. "Art" Greisen, age 78, of Columbus, Nebraska died Sunday July 7, 2002 at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. Funeral Services are 10:30 a.m. Wednesday July 10, 2002 at St. Isidore Catholic Church in Columbus with Reverend Tom Greisen officiating. Burial will be in the St. Bonaventure Cemetery in Columbus. Visitation is after 6:00 p.m. Tuesday with a 7:30 p.m. Vigil Service at St. Isidore Church. Visitation continues on Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. until service time at church.

Mr. Greisen was born April 8, 1924 in Platte Center, Nebraska to Hilger and Josephine (Wegner) Greisen. He married Rose Marie Pinger on September 10, 1947 in Lindsay, Nebraska. Art farmed with his father Hilger and brother Harry until 1985 when he retired and moved to Columbus. He was a member of St. Isidore Catholic Church.
