Arlene Roseboom

Arlene C. Roseboom, 80, of Columbus died Thursday, March 10, 2005 at Columbus Community Hospital. Memorial services are 11:00 am Monday, March 14 at McKown Funeral Home with the Rev. Andrew Alberts officiating. The family will receive friends from 10-11 am Monday prior to the services. There is no visitation. Interment is in the Nelson Cemetery in Nelson, Nebraska.

Arlene C. Roseboom was born February 11, 1925 in Nelson, Nebraska to John and Violet (Adrian) Powell. She grew up in Nelson and graduated from Nelson High School in 1943. She married Ralph Roseboom on December 31, 1951 in St. Louis. Arlene lived in Lincoln and St. Louis before moving to Columbus in 1957 where she worked at Becton-Dickinson until retiring in 1990. She enjoyed hunting, fishing, outdoor sports, and Cubs baseball. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church.
