Arlene M. Koziol died Friday, April 6, 2018 at Brookestone Acres in Columbus.
Arlene M. Koziol was born May 3, 1936 in Tarnov, Nebraska to Adolph J. and Irene (Sliva) Kudron. She attended St. Michael's Elementary in Tarnov and graduated from St. Francis High School in Humphrey. She received her nurses training at St. Joseph's Hospital in Omaha. On July 2, 1960 Arlene was united in marriage to Bennie J. Koziol at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Columbus. She worked at St. Marys and the Columbus Community Hospital for 47 years in the Obstetrical Department. Arlene very much enjoyed her work as a nurse. In 1997 she received the Caring Kind Award from the Nebraska Association of Hospital and Health Systems. Arlene was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church where she served as an EME. Arlene was also a member of Perpetual Adoration, St. Theresa Sodality and Retired Nurses Group.
