Tony “Scrapper” Kielian, age 57, died Tuesday, April 14, 2026, at his home in Rising City.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 20, 2026, at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Silver Creek. The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Monday at the church. Interment will be in the St. Lawrence Cemetery.
Anthony Matthew Kielian was born September 20, 1968, in Central City to Dominic and Dollie (Fast) Kielian. He grew up and attended school in Silver Creek. He attended college at Central Community College while working for Nebraska Irrigation. While working at Nebraska Irrigation, he helped with the design of a pallet wrapper which was later patented by the company. He was united in marriage to Sheila Luschei on June 23, 1990, at Word of Life Church in Columbus. Tony loved fishing, hunting, camping and his famous annual Fourth of July Celebrations. His family and friends were his top priority, and he was always there to help with anything that they needed.
