Anthony Brandt

Anthony "Tony" Brandt, age 92, of Madison, Nebraska formerly of Platte Center, Nebraska died Tuesday November 23, 2004 at the Countryside Home in Madison. Funeral Services are 10:00 a.m. Saturday, November 27, 2004 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Platte Center with Reverend Rod Kneifl officiating. Burial is in the Ss Patrick/Joseph Cemetery rural Platte Center. Visitation is 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Friday with a 7:00 p.m. Vigil Service at St. Joseph Church in Platte Center. Visitation will continue Saturday morning from 9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. also at the church.

Anthony "Tony" Brandt was born May 18, 1912 in Madison, Nebraska to Mike and Theresa (Hutmacher) Brandt. He grew up in the Humphrey area. On January 31, 1940 he was united in marriage to Josephine Wemhoff at St. Mary's Church. The couple lived and farmed in the Platte Center area until moving to Platte Center. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and a life member of the Knights Of Columbus. Tony enjoyed farming, playing cards and spending time with his grandchildren.
