Anna Hamilton

Anna M. Hamilton, 84, of Columbus died Wednesday, September 12, 2007 at Columbus Community Hospital. Mass of Christian Burial is 9:00 am Saturday at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Columbus. Visitation is on Friday from 4-7 pm with a Vigil Service at 7 pm, all at McKown Funeral Home. Visitation continues Saturday morning from 8-8:30 at the funeral home. Interment is in St. Bonaventure Cemetery.

Anna M. Hamilton was born January 22, 1923 in Fullerton to Walter and Mary (Dubas) Bosak. She grew up on a farm in Nance County and graduated from Fullerton High School in 1940. Anna moved to Omaha and married Jack Hamilton on December 17, 1948 in Yuma, AZ. They lived in San Francisco, Hawaii, and Florida before returning to Omaha where Anna worked at Stockman's Journal. She then moved to Columbus where she worked for Behlen Manufacturing until she retired in 1995. Anna was a member of St. Anthony Church and loved her pets, reading, and flowers.
