Ann K. Wozny of Columbus died Monday December 15, 2008 at the Golden Living Center in Columbus.
Ann Kathryn Wozny, 94, died peacefully on Monday December 15. She was a resident of Golden Living Center in Columbus. She was the daughter of John and Mary Thiellen of Petersburg, NE. Ann was born in Petersburg, NE and lived most of her life in Columbus. She married Edward S. Wozny in 1939 at St. Bonaventure Church in Columbus, and they raised 4 children. Ann proudly served as a top-notch waitress for more than 40 years. She was employed with Johnny's Steak House for many years, as well as Wunderlichs, and restaurants in Schuyler. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Edward Sylvester in 1972, 8 siblings, and a son Robert in 2007.
Survivors include: daughter Patty Peterson of Tempe, AZ, son Ronald and wife Jan of Thousand Oaks, CA, son Reggie and wife June of Rapid City, SD, 10 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and various nieces and nephews in Nebraska.
