Anita Nickolite

Anita Nickolite, 87, of Columbus died Friday, November  8, 2024.

Funeral service is 10:30 a.m. November 21, 2024, at McKown Funeral Home. Visitation is 4-6 p.m. November 20, 2024 at McKown Funeral Home.

Anita was born December 9, 1936 in Bellwood, Nebraska to Francis and Molly (Raric) Hopkins.

Anita worked for many years at Dale-Vishay until her retirement. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Anita enjoyed red beer, mushroom hunting, the tv show "Alaska Last Frontier", Godfathers Pizza, little dogs, country music oldies. She was always helping everyone and enjoyed doing so.

Anita was a Mom not only to her children but many others throughout the years. She never asked for anything in life. When you were worried or sad she would say "have faith that's all I live on."

Anita is survived by her children Correan (Rich) Carmichael, Julie (Randy) Sedlacek, Jay Nickolite, Marty (Bev) Nickolite, Steve Nickolite and Tammy.
Many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter-in-law Diane Nickolite, brothers Russ and Boyd Hopkins, sister Orletha Hosher
