Andrew “Andy” Dush of Columbus died Monday, March 23, 2026 at the Brookestone Acres.

Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 a.m. Thursday, March 26, 2026 at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Columbus. Visitation is Wednesday 5-7 p.m.. There will be a 7:00 p.m. vigil service at the funeral home. Visitation will continue 9:30 a.m. until service time at the church. Interment will be in the All Saints Cemetery with military honors by the American Legion Hartman Post #84 Honor Guard. A meal will be served at Wunderlich Catering following the services.

Andrew was born November 29, 1942 in Genoa, Nebraska to Andrew and Dorothy (Sutko) Dush. He graduated from Clarks High School and later attended business College before serving in the United States Army. He worked at D&L until his retirement. He enjoyed the many friendships formed at work. Andy enjoyed gardening, lawn work, Husker Volleyball and attending his families sporting events.

Andy was married to Theresa “Terri” Kampovitz on October 2, 1965 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church-Pilzno.

Andy is survived by: Son: Ron (Cindy-significant other) Dush, Son: Steve (Ann) Dush, Daughter: Karla Dush, Son: Jason (Jen) Dush, 6 Grandchilden, 1 Great Grandson, Sister: Geraldine (Stanley) Rinkol.

He is preceded in death by his wife: Theresa “Terri” Dush, parents: Andrew and Dorothy Dush, brother: Don Dush, sister: Joan Schefcyk and grandson: Tyler Dush
