Ami (Ternus) Kallberg, age 36, died Friday, October 25, 2019 at her home in Columbus.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, October 30, 2019 at St. Isidore Catholic Church in Columbus. Visitation is 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Tuesday with a 7:00 p.m. Vigil Service at McKown Funeral Home. Visitation will continue Wednesday morning from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. at. St. Isidore Church. Burial will be in the Hoffer Cemetery in Polk County.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the Breast Cancer Foundation.
Ami Kaye Kallberg was born August 12, 1983 in Columbus, Nebraska to Paul Steven and Holly Kaye (Den) Ternus. She graduated from Columbus High School and attended Chadron State College where she earned a degree in History. Ami met her husband Doug in Columbus where they were married on September 10, 2011. They moved to Minneapolis where she became a pharmacy technician. She got to travel to London and Paris. Ami loved crafts and crocheting. Most of all, she was a devoted mother and ever forgiving wife. A beautiful soul taken too soon!
