Alyce Eriksen of Genoa died May 28, 2025 at Genoa Community Hospital.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, June 2, 11:00 A.M. at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Genoa with Rev. William L'Heureux celebrating the Mass. Visitation will be Monday morning from 9-11 am at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church Interment will be in the Valley View Cemetery.
Alyce Krzycki-Eriksen was born in Columbus on Aug. 5,1936 to Charles and Valeria Cuba Krzycki.
She attended a country school until the 7th grade. They then moved to Genoa and there she graduated from Genoa High School in 1954.
She worked as a Dental Assistant for Dr Brown, Dr Houfek, and Dr Dubs in the Genoa Office for a total of 44 years.
Alyce loved her family and took care of her mom and sister for many years.
She married Raymond Eriksen on June 1st, 1985, in Genoa. They enjoyed traveling, camping, and flying their Cessna 172. She retired to care for her husband Raymond until his death in 2020.
Raymond had two children, Denny and Debra. Alyce loved them like her own.
Alyce is survived by Daughter Debra Jene (Larry) Pieper of Carroll, Iowa, Son Denny (Michelle) Reis of Genoa, and Grandchildren Jeremy (Bridget) of Genoa, Ashley (Brad) from Albion, Riley Evans from Maryland. And many great grandchildren, nephews and nieces.
Alyce was preceded in death by her husband Raymond, her parents, Charles and Valeria Krzycki, two sisters Dorothy, and Frances, and 2 brothers Ted, and Steve, Nephew Jerry, and Larry, and Charles Koziol.
McKown Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
