Alonzo "Al" Lesiak died Monday, January 2, 2017 in Columbus.
Alonzo Lesiak was born May 12, 1935 at Krakow, NE to Alex and Rose (Zoucha) Lesiak. He grew up on the family farm outside of Fullerton and attended country schools. Al enlisted in the US Navy and served 2 years. Al returned to Nebraska where he was united in marriage to Patsy Wilcox on January 14, 1959 in Silver Creek. They lived in Columbus where he worked for Foreman Lumber before starting his own business, Al's Home Repair. Al loved fishing, spending time at his cabin, camping, being with his family and walking his dog. He was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church, Silver Creek American Legion Post #263, and the Izaak Walton Gun Club.
