Alois Micek

Alois died Tuesday, October 18, 2011 at the Columbus Community Hospital.

Alois A. Micek was born July 16, 1928 in Platte County, Nebraska to Alois, Sr. and Anna (Iwan) Micek. He graduated from Duncan High School in 1946. Alois married Florence Small on September 11, 1951 at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Genoa. Alois was a farmer and livestock feeder in Platte County his entire life. He was a member of St. Stanislaus Church, Holy Name, Husker CO-OP Board of Directors and the Duncan Volunteer Fire Department where he was currently serving on the Board of Directors. Alois enjoyed attending cattle sales and playing cards with his friends.
