Allyn Leimser, age 87 of Columbus, died Friday, May 22, 2026, at Brookstone Acres.

Allyn Leimser was born June 21, 1938 in Duncan, NE to Lawrence and Irene (Hahn) Leimser. He grew up and received his education at Duncan. Allyn drove truck for Overland Sand and Gravel for 41 years. He enjoyed working with horses. Especially working his Belgium horses alongside his father. Allyn also owned race horses and quarter horses. Allyn was very musically inclined. He played violin, piano, guitar, and drums. He enjoyed singing best, leading his band Allyn & The Knightwriters.
