Alice Webster

December 18, 1948 — October 14, 2018

Mrs. Alice Mae Webster (Peacock), of Shelby, NE, passed away, due to complications from cancer, on Sunday, October 14, 2018 at the age of 69, at the Hillcrest Country Estates in Papillion.

Alice was born to parents Harold and Anna Mae Peacock on December 19, 1948 in Pawnee City, NE. In 1971, she married David F. Webster of Annapolis, MD, on November 6, 1971, and the couple had two children before they decided to move back to Nebraska, in 1976, where they had two more children. Alice was very family oriented, which was the driving force behind her being a stay-at-home mom and care giver of her grandchildren the majority of her adult life.

Alice is survived by her daughter, Ruth Godejohn and her husband Rick of Shelby, NE; her sons, David Webster and his wife Christy of New Bern, NC, Timothy Webster and his wife Kim of Columbus, NE, and Andrew Webster and his wife Alisha of Corpus Christi, TX; her brother, Evert Peacock and his wife Karen of Omaha, NE; thirteen (13) Grandchildren: Samantha Taylor and her husband Martin of Camp Pendleton, CA, Trevor Webster, Kortney Godejohn, Jasmyn Webster, Sarah Godejohn, Katherine Webster, Anthony Webster, Emily Godejohn, Rachel Webster, Ashlynn Webster, Wendy Godejohn, Joseph Webster, Annya Webster.

She is preceded in death by her husband, David F. Webster; her parents, Harold and Anna Mae Peacock; her sister, Ruth; and her brothers, Harold and Robert Peacock.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to ICU nurses and staff of Methodist Hospital of Omaha, especially Tiffany, Casey, and Courtney, for their tenderness of heart and tremendous care and support of Alice and the family during her stay there.

The family is grateful for the condolences but declines flowers. However, donations may be made on behalf of Alice to the Methodist Hospital of Omaha.
