Alice Warren of Columbus died Wednesday, August 4, 2010 at the Golden Living Center in Columbus.
Alice Maria Randolph was born October 19, 1927 in Spokane, WA to George N. and Ruth (Morrison) Randolph. As a daughter to an Army Colonel, Alice lived in many places throughout her childhood before settling in Starkville, MS. She attended the University of Alabama before enrolling in a Famous Artist Course. She married Alcus Warren on June 16, 1951 in Starkville. They lived in different locations throughout Mississippi and California before moving to Columbus in 1985. Alice was a housewife and accomplished artist, specializing in portrait paintings. She was an active member of the Word of Life Church whose life revolved around her family, painting, and her faith.
