Alice M. Hoff of Columbus died Thursday, October 29, 2015 at Columbus Community Hospital.
Alice Marie Hoff was born August 17, 1942 in Columbus to Barney and Dora (Staroscik) Micek. She grew up in Columbus graduating from Scotus Central Catholic (St. Bonaventure). Alice married Ken Hoff and had three children, Kevin, Lynne, and Kris. During her life, she worked for Citizens Bank, B-Ds, Middle State, Northwest Electric, and worked for the Platte County Courthouse as a Clerk in the District Court until her retirement. Following her retirement, Alice remained active volunteering at the Columbus Hospital, playing in card clubs, and respite care for her granddaughter. She was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church and St. Theresa Sodality. Her hobbies included swimming, reading, bike riding, and most importantly spending time and doing things with her family and friends. Alice would always go out of her way to help others and make them feel good.
