Alice &Quot;Grace&Quot; Brandt

Alice "Grace" Brandt, age 85, of Columbus died Wednesday, December 13, 2006 at the Golden Living Center in Schuyler. Funeral services are 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 16, 2006 at the McKown Funeral Home. Visitation is Friday 3-6 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial is in the Roselawn Cemetery.

Alice Grace Brandt was born September 8, 1921 in Neligh, Nebraska to Charles and Suzannah (Slater) Moore. She grew up in Neligh. She received her education in the Neligh and Plainview area. She married Rudy Brandt, Jr. on December 7, 1945 in Ponca, Nebraska. They farmed in Antelope, Madison and Dixon Counties before moving to Columbus in 1965. She worked at Dale Electronics for over 18 years. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church.
