Alan Backes

Alan J. Backes, age 55, died Saturday, December 15, 2018 at the Columbus Community Hospital.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 3:00 - 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 20, 2018 at McKown Funeral Home in Columbus.

Alan J. Backes was born October 3, 1963 in Omaha, NE to Vic and Irene (Chochon) Backes. He attended Columbus High School and received his G.E.D. Alan was a truck driver and a heavy equipment operator for many years. He married Roxanne Moseley on November 17, 1989 in Columbus. He enjoyed watching NASCAR, 4-wheeling, Nebraska football, 4 ^th of July Celebrations and spending time with his granddaughter.

He was preceded in death by:

Mother-in –law: Maureen Puckett
