Agnes Ann Rosenthal, 75, of Columbus died Friday, November 5, 2004 at Columbus Community Hospital. Funeral services are 10:30 am Tuesday November 9, 2004 at St. Isidore Catholic Church in Columbus. Visitation is on Monday from 3-5 pm at McKown Funeral Home & after 6 pm Monday at St. Isidore Church with a Vigil Service at 7 pm, also at the Church. Visitation continues Tuesday morning from 8-10 am at McKown Funeral Home. Interment is in All Saints Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the donor's choice.
Agnes Ann Rosenthal was born April 21, 1929 in Silver Creek to Adam and Mary (Koziol) Sock. She grew up in Silver Creek and graduated from Silver Creek High School in 1947. After high school she worked in Columbus. She married Anthony Rosenthal on October 10, 1951 at St. Lawrence Church in Silver Creek. They lived on a farm near Humphrey for 30 years before moving to Columbus in 1981. She was a homemaker and managed the cafeteria at Humphrey High School for 25 years and also worked at the Scotus Central Catholic Cafeteria for 9 years. In 1987 she received the Best Friend to Education Award from Humphrey Public Schools. She was a member of St. Isidore Catholic Church and Christian Mothers. Agnes enjoyed cooking, traveling, playing cards, flowers, and dancing.
