Agnes Mary Prucha

Agnes died Wednesday, January 13, 2010 at the Golden Living Center in Columbus.

Agnes Mary Prucha was born April 13, 1918 in Humphrey, Nebraska to Frank and Walburga (Hoffman) Zach. She grew up in Humphrey and attended St. Mary's grade school. Agnes moved to Chicago where she married James Prucha on July 18, 1942 at St. Leonard Catholic Church in Berwyn, Illinois. The couple had a daughter Christine born July 8, 1948. She died that same day. Agnes and James became foster parents for 3 girls and a boy. Agnes did factory work while living in Chicago. In 1975 the couple moved to Tennessee and then moved to Columbus in 1997. Agnes was a member of St. Bonaventure Church.
