Agnes C. Miller

Agnes died Saturday, February 11, 2017 at the Brookestone Acres in Columbus.

Agnes C. Miller was born April 29, 1931 near Donnellson, Iowa to Ben and Elizabeth (Menke) Panther. She graduated from Houghton High School in Houghton, Iowa in 1949. Agnes married John A. Miller on August 1, 1953 in Houghton, Iowa. She lived in Columbus for nearly 60 years and worked at Dale Electronics until retirement. Agnes enjoyed playing cards and was an avid Husker sports fan. She was a member of St. Bonaventure Church, past president of the St. Bonaventure Guild, Catholic Daughters, former director of the Liturgical Singers, former member of the CCD faculty, member of the Mixed Choir and Funeral Choir. She also served as past president and life member of the Williams PTA and past president of the PTA Council of Columbus. Agnes was a library reader at Cottonwood House and Edgewood Vista and lead bingo at Morys Haven Nursing Home.
