Agnes died Sunday, November 7, 2010 at Morys Haven in Columbus.

Agnes J. Kampovitz, the youngest of six children, was born September 8, 1914 in Genoa, Nebraska to John and Josephine (Klimek) Tomasiewicz. She grew up in the Genoa area and married John F. Kampovitz on October 18, 1938 at Ss. Peter & Paul Catholic Church - Krakow near Genoa. The couple lived and farmed near Shelby, Nebraska until 1971 when they moved to an acreage near Bellwood. While on the farm Agnes was active at St. Mary's Catholic Church - Pilsno where she served as Altar Society President and was active in various church activities. In 1999 Agnes moved to the Good Samaritan Village in Hastings where she resided until August of 2009 when she moved to Morys Haven in Columbus. Agnes was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church and enjoyed gardening, canning, baking, sewing and playing bingo. She was very proud of her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is survived by:
