Agnes died Monday, January 17, 2011 at the Golden Living Center in Columbus.

Agnes Davis was born October 4, 1925 to Edmund and Minnie J (Seberger) Augustin of Shelby, Nebraska. She graduated from Shelby High School in 1943 and later received a diploma for meat inspector. Agnes married Dr. Clarence Davis of Osceola on June 12, 1980.
She was a member of St. Bonaventure Catholic Church and the Ladies Guild. Agnes loved the outside and working in the yard.

Survivors include 2 children Thomas (Marilyn) Schmoker of Osage, Wyoming, Susan (Bill) Sueper of Columbus, Nebraska; 3 stepchildren Michael Davis, Irene Davis Sterup of Billings, Montana, and Ralph Davis of Fayetteville, Arkansas; grandchildren Jennifer (Brian) Davies of Omaha, Melissa (Chris) Fletcher of Flandreau, S. Dakota, Christopher Schmoker of Belle Fourche, S. Dakota, Patrick Schmoker of Omaha, Gretchen (Adam) LaBrune of Flandreau, S. Dakota, Jessica (JayDe) Hanson of Columbus, April (Shane) Van Diest of Columbus; 6 step grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, several step great-grandchildren, sister-in-law Dixie Augustin of Tempe, Arizona, brother Wayne and sister-in-law Marcia of Shelby, and sister Irene Butterfield of Mesa, Arizona.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, brother Leonard and sister-in-law Ramona, brother-in-law Eugene Treadway, brother-in-law Dean Butterfield, brother Delmar, great-niece Sandy Treadway, and two god children Johnny Augustin and LuAnn Meister.
