Agnes "Peggy" Cinfel, age 89, of Columbus, Nebraska died Tuesday January 15, 2002 at the Columbus Manor. Family will receive friends from 5-7 pm Friday at McKown Funeral Home. Private Family Services will be held at a later date with burial in the Clarkson Cemetery in Clarkson, Nebraska.
Agnes "Peggy" Cinfel was born December 22, 1912 in Czechoslovakia to Frank and Anna Jirsak. She was united in marriage to Elmer Cinfel on January 21, 1930. They lived in Clarkson and Leigh area before moving to Columbus in 1954. They farmed and owned their own business.
She is survived by:
Daughter: Judie McCarthy of Columbus, NE
Daughter: Shirley (Harlan) Trofholz of St. Augustine, FL
Brother: Joe Jirsak of Columbus, NE
8 Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren
She was preceded by:
