Adeline &Quot;Della&Quot; Stanczyk

Adeline "Della" Stanczyk, 96, of Silver Creek died Friday, January 26, 2007 at the Good Samaritan Center in Osceola. Funeral services are 10:30 am Thursday, February 1 at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Silver Creek with Rev. Frank Jindra officiating. Visitation is on Wednesday from 5-7 pm at St. Lawrence Church with a Vigil service at 7 pm, also at the church. Visitation continues Thursday morning from 9:30 am until service time.

Adeline Stanczyk was born October 15, 1910 in Merrick County to John and Stella (Dubas) Swertzic. She received her education at District # 23 in Polk County and in Nance County. She married Frank Stanczyk on October 16, 1934 at Ss. Peter & Paul Church-Krakow. They lived on the Polk County farm from October 1934 until moving into Silver Creek in the spring of 1970. They attended St. Mary's Church-Pilsno and St. Lawrence Church in Silver Creek. Adeline was a member of the Altar Society at both parishes. She enjoyed her family and friends.

Granddaughter Janet (Mark) Gabel of Osceola, NE
