Adele Boss died Friday, April 14, 2017 at the Columbus Care & Rehabilitation Center.
Adele H. Boss was born January 11, 1925 in West Point, Nebraska to Henry W. and Martha A. (Paradies) Zobel. She graduated from Kramer High School in Columbus in 1942 and did her Normal training at Silver Creek High School and Kearney State College in 1943. On December 5, 1945 Adele was united in marriage to Louis W. Boss in Columbus. Adele lived in Columbus for over 60 years. She taught rural school for 2 years and worked for the Shirt Factory, J.C. Penney and Diers Supply. She was member of Trinity Lutheran Church where she taught Sunday School, Vacation Bible School and was a member of the Ladies Aid. Adele was a Life Member of V.F.W. #3704 Auxiliary and Disabled American Veterans Pawnee Chapter #20, 40 & 8 Club, P.T.A. and a past Commander of the American Legion Auxiliary #26 in Silver Creek. She volunteered at the Columbus Community Hospital Gift Shop as well as Trinity Lutheran Church, V.F.W. and the American Legion. Adele enjoyed playing bingo at the V.F.W., pickle cards and babysitting her grandchildren

Great Grandchildren: Harper Perry, Hudson Perry and Addison Adele Mohr
