Adam W. Torczon, age 86 of Columbus died Sunday; January 19, 2003 at the Columbus Community Hospital. Funeral services are 10:30 a.m. Wednesday; January 22, 2003 at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church. The Rev. Mark Bridgman will officiate. Burial will be in St. Michaels Cemetery in Tarnov. Visitation will be Wednesday morning 9:00-10:00 a.m. at the McKown Funeral Home.
Adam W. Torczon was born January 12, 1917 in Tarnov, Nebraska to Kaiton and Catherine(Jazwick) Torczon. He received his education in Tarnov. He continued to live and farm in the Tarnov area until moving to Columbus in the 1950's. He was a member of St. Bonaventure Catholic Church.
Adam is survived by his brother Clem of Columbus. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Cecelia.
