Adam &Quot;Bisco&Quot; Hoffman

Adam died Sunday, April 19, 2009 at the Pine View Good Samaritan Center in Valentine, Nebraska.

Adam "Bisco" Hoffman was born September 20, 1910 in Columbus, Nebraska to Fred and Sophie (Mimick) Hoffman. He grew up in Columbus and attended St. Bonaventure School. In the early 1950's Bisco married Leola Venteicher in Columbus. He worked for the City of Columbus Water Plant, Union Pacific Railroad, Clarence Mimick Construction and Roth Construction. He enjoyed traveling with, helping and advising his grandson Adam who he was very proud of. Bisco was a life long Columbus resident until moving to Valentine 5 years ago.
