Corrine Seymour of Columbus died Friday, November 10, 2017 in Columbus.

Corrine Helen Seymour was born June 2, 1943 in Monroe, NE to James G. and Helen (Startz) Shemek. She grew up in the Columbus area and graduated from St. Bonaventure High School in 1962. After graduation, Corrine lived and worked in New York City at a bank as a clerical worker. A couple of years later, she moved to Denver, CO where she met and married Allen Seymour from Hillsboro, NH on April 22, 1967 at Immaculate Conception Cathedral. They had one daughter, Kimberly Helen.

Corrine attended Platte College Campus in Columbus where she received her Associate Degree of Arts in Business Administration in 1972. She later attended the University of Nebraska-Kearney where she received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration in 1981.

Corrine worked in various plants in the Columbus area including Becton Dickinson and Vishay. She also worked at Behlen Mfg. in the computer department for 10 years and at Appleton Electric for 16 years before she retired in 2008.

Corrine was an animal lover. She enjoyed reading, painting, cooking, aerobics, and playing Bingo. She was a member of St. Isidore Church.
