ass of the Resurrection will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 14, 2008 at St. Isidore Catholic Church in Columbus with Reverend Joseph A. Miksch officiating

Visitation
4:00 - 7:00 p.m. Thursday with a 7:00 p.m. Vigil Service at McKown Funeral Home in Columbus. Visitation continues Friday morning from 8:00 - 10:30 a.m. Friday also at the funeral home

Interment
Graveside Services will be held at the St. Mary's Cemetery in David City, Nebraska. Memorials may be directed to Hospice of Boulder and Broomfield Counties or Applewood Kids Care and sent in care of Ahlberg Funeral Chapel (326 Terry Street, Longmont, CO 80501)

Lucille R. Simanek, age 83, of Longmont, Colorado formerly of Columbus, Nebraska died Sunday, March 9, 2008 at the Applewood Living Center in Longmont. Mass of the Resurrection will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 14, 2008 at St. Isidore Catholic Church in Columbus with Reverend Joseph A. Miksch officiating. Visitation is 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. Thursday with a 7:00 p.m. Vigil Service at McKown Funeral Home in Columbus. Visitation continues Friday morning from 8:00 - 10:30 a.m. Friday also at the funeral home. Lucille was born November 15, 1924 on a farm near David City, Nebraska to Louis J. and Emma (Pospichal) Dvorak. She married Leonard Simanek June 18, 1946 at Assumption Catholic Church at Appleton. She was a bookkeeper and of the Catholic Faith. Lucille moved to Longmont in 2006 from Columbus, Nebraska. She enjoyed her family, traveling, gardening, reading, and playing bridge.



Lucille is survived by two sons; Tom Simanek and his wife Pam of Shenandoah, Iowa, and Steve Simanek and his wife Sandra of Abilene, Texas, one daughter Jan Hillburn and husband Glenn of Firestone, Colorado, a brother Milo Dvorak and his wife Marlene of Garland, Texas, grandchildren; Jesse Hough of Greeley, Colorado, Ben Simanek and his wife Nicole of Hugo, Minnesota, Jenny Hough of Omaha, Nebraska, Jody Hacker and husband Mike of Oologah, Oklahoma, Lesley Jensen and husband David of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, Jill Williams and husband James of Lincoln, Nebraska, Dan Simanek of Ames, Iowa, Amanda Tate and husband Damian of Longmont, Colorado, and eight great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Leonard.
