Eileen died Monday, September 17, 2012 at Countryside Home in Madison, Nebraska.

Eileen C. Labenz was born October 5, 1934 in Humphrey, Nebraska to Rochus and Caroline (Foltz) Pfeifer. She graduated from St. Francis School in 1952. Eileen married Eugene Labenz on August 8, 1956 at St. Francis Catholic Church in Humphrey and was a lifelong resident of the community. She worked for Dr. Abts, Humphrey Democrat, Klub 81 and fifteen years at Sherwood Medical in Norfolk until her retirement due to health issues.
Eileen enjoyed playing cards, baking, traveling, camping and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was a member of St. Francis Parish, Christian Mothers and St. Francis Sewing Ladies.


She is survived by:

Daughter: Jane (Jim) Wiehn of Humphrey, NE
Daughter: Judy (Bill) Greenough of Norfolk, NE
Son: Dale (Patty) Labenz of Columbus, NE
Son: Lyle (Shelly) Labenz of Churubusco, IN
Daughter: Jodi Labenz of Lincoln, NE
Eleven Grandchildren and Two Great Grandchildren
Brother: Bill (Edna) Pfeifer of Madison, NE
Brother: Bro. Roch Pfeifer, OFM of Monroe, LA
Brother: Alvin (Margaret) Pfeifer of Omaha, NE
Sister: Thelma Veik of Madison, Ne
Sister: Bernie Boesch of Humphrey, NE
Sister-in-law: Mary Alice Pfeifer of Humphrey, NE


She was preceded in death by:
