Beatrice Anna Srb died Monday, June 25, 2012 at Columbus Community Hospital in Columbus.
Bea, the daughter of Jim and Anna (Podany) Zacek, was born June 14, 1914 at Clarkson, Nebraska. She graduated from Clarkson High School in 1932 and received her Teachers Certificate at Midland College in Fremont, Nebraska. Bea taught school for 6 years. On November 23, 1939 Bea married Anton Srb at Clarkson. After raising her children, Bea worked at Dales for over 15 years. She retired in 1976. Bea enjoyed flowers, gardening, baking, crocheting, playing cards, and visiting with her children and grandchildren.
Bea is survived by: Daughter: Karen (Edward) Purchal of Columbus Daughter: Connie Srb of Omaha Sister: Elsie Dolesh of Columbus 3 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren
She was preceded in death by: Husband Anton Parents Jim and Anna Zacek Sister Wylma Keil
