Leo died Sunday, June 24, 2012 at the Litzenberg Memorial Hospital in Central City, Nebraska.
Leo T. Szatko was born July 25, 1928 in Wolbach, Nebraska to Ingnatius James and Victoria (Gembica) Szatko. He served in the U.S. Navy from April 1946-February 1948. Leo married Betty Konwinski on August 11, 1951. She passed away on June 30, 1987. He then married Isabel Ksionzek on June 2, 1988. Leo farmed in the Clarks area until retirement. Leo was a lifetime dairy and hog farmer. Farming was his greatest passion. He also enjoyed going to polka dances and spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was a member of St. Peters Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus and the American Legion.
He is survived by:
